Tree Care in New Jersey

Tree trimming, thinning, pruning and deadwood removal, plus limbs cleared off roofs, wires and driveways. Storm damage cleaned up and hauled away fast.

Tree care services

Trees add shade and value, but a limb over the roof or a dead branch over the driveway is a problem waiting for the next storm. We trim with the health of the tree in mind and keep your house, cars and lines safe.

  • Tree trimming and thinning to open up dense crowns, let light and air through and cut down on wind load.
  • Pruning and deadwood removal. Dead, broken and crossing branches come out before they fall on their own.
  • Limbs off roofs, wires and driveways. We cut back branches rubbing shingles, hanging over gutters or blocking a driveway or walkway.
  • Storm cleanup and hauling. After a storm we cut up downed limbs and trees, clear the yard and haul everything away.

How a tree job works

  1. Call or text 609-332-8852. For storm damage, tell us if anything is on the house, a car or a line so we can prioritize.
  2. We walk the property and look at each tree with you: which limbs come out, where they will fall and how we will protect lawns, beds and hardscape.
  3. You get a written price covering the trimming, the cleanup and the hauling, with nothing left out.
  4. Work and cleanup. We cut, lower and clean up, rake the yard and haul the brush and wood away. Chips and logs can be left if you want them.

Why trimming the right way matters

Bad trimming hurts trees. Topping a tree or cutting flush against the trunk leaves wounds that rot and sends up weak sprouts that break in the next storm. We make proper cuts just outside the branch collar so the tree can seal over, and we take only what needs to come out.

Older neighborhoods in towns like Moorestown and Burlington have big mature oaks, maples and sycamores close to houses. Wooded lots in Medford and New Egypt have pines and oaks leaning over driveways and sheds. Both need regular attention to stay safe.

Storm calls

Our regular hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm, but we answer storm calls outside those hours when we can. If a tree is on wires, call the utility first. Once the lines are safe, we clear the rest.

Pairs well with

When a tree has to come down, we can grind what is left with our stump removal service, then topsoil and seed the spot.

Questions

Common questions

When is the best time to trim trees?

Late fall through winter is ideal for most trees because they are dormant and you can see the structure. Dead, broken or hazardous limbs should come down any time of year.

Do you remove whole trees?

We handle trimming, deadwood, storm work and smaller removals. For large removals near the house we walk it with you and tell you honestly if it needs a crane crew.

Can you cut limbs near power lines?

We trim branches near service lines to the house when it is safe. Anything touching primary utility lines has to be handled by the utility first.

Do you haul away the branches?

Yes. Cleanup and hauling are included in the price unless you ask us to leave logs or chips.
